SRB's Titan Precast Magnet clamps punch way beyond their weight and size in comparison with other magnet clamps on the market. It has a much higher shear force to magnetic pull-down force ration than any magnet currently on the market. The Titan has around 3968 lbs. of magnetic pull-down force, despite its small size and light weight.

Features of the SRB Titan Precast Magnet Include:

• Adjustable Handle: The 3-step adjustable handle cycles the SRB Titan's rare earth magnet between engaged, semi-engaged and disengaged positions. The semi-engaged position is unique to SRB Titan. It allows the magnet to be tapped or easily moved while it's engaged with the steel forming bed. This means fine adjustment along the sideform is possible without the destructive force of a hammer or mallet.

• Plastic Body: This is the only magnet with a plastic/rubber housing in order to drastically reduce movement from the vibration caused by poker vibrators, vibrating screed or vibrating beds. Furthermore, concrete is unable to adhere to the strong glass reinforced plastic used in the SRB magnets. The alkalinity in concrete does not affect the plastic Titan magnet body. Accordingly, the need for cleaning and maintenance is less frequent.

• Rubber Skirt: The rubber skirt creates a barrier between the magnet and dirt as well as metallic particles or other foreign magnetic material. Other manufacturers use stainless steel which has the disadvantage of decreasing friction. Meanwhile, SRB's rubber skirt increases the base friction forces holding the magnet in place before, during and after the concrete pour.

The SRB Titan Precast Magnet is ideal for use with the SRB Spartan Sideform System. However, thanks to an arsenal of adapters and mounting brackets, is fully compatible with your existing side forms.
