The small molecular size of the fluoroalkyl silane in Duro-Guard allows it to penetrate deeply into smooth troweled, burnished and polished concrete floor surfaces where it chemically reacts with siliceous containing compounds to form a hydrophobic (repels water and compounds dissolved in water) and oleophobic (repels oil and oil containing compounds) barrier that protects concrete floor surfaces from discoloration, staining and chemical attack. Duro-Guard is not a surface coating and will not alter the natural appearance or texture of treated concrete floor surfaces.

Applications

• For use on all exposed interior, smooth troweled, burnished and polished concrete floors.
• Protects offices, schools, retail stores, grocery stores, restaurants, kitchens, cafeteria and bathroom floors from oil, grease, food and drink stains.
• Minimizes interior concrete floor stains in convention centers, sporting arenas, hotels, institutional, religious and government buildings.
• Protects interior stained or dyed polished concrete floors and gives treated surfaces a natural appearance without any additional gloss.
